Remarks

In the spirit of the old Scottish poem listed to the right, we offer you our sincere friendship through this extension of the written words of Dr. Gunn. His talent to interpret his faith and ideals and the corresponding public response has moved us to offer this legacy of thoughtful messages to the world at large through this new medium known as the Internet. If these messages speak to you or to someone you love please let us know. If you would like to transfer these meditations to your web page you may do so by downloading the following file.

These messages are brought to you with an expression of love found in Psalm 128, "May God's great peace, good health, and joy forever fill your home; may you and your descendants know forever God's Shalom!"

If these messages have been helpful and you would like to respond with a gift we suggest two possibilities:

The Fund for Theological Education provides scholarships annually for promising ministers. If you send them a contribution please ask them to mark it for the Rev. & Mrs. John R. Gunn Fellowship
If you would like to provide financial assistance for the preservation of John R. Gunn’s archives please mark your gift accordingly and send it to:

How little it cost
if you give it a thought,
To make happy
some heart each day;
Just one kind word,
and a tender smile
As you go on
your daily way.

A little word
in kindness spoken,
A motion or a tear;
May heal a spirit broken,
And make a friend sincere.
